John Pollack is a partner in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and is a member of Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity practice groups. A recognized leader in his field by Chambers USA, he focuses his practice on PE M&A representing sponsors and their portfolio companies in buyouts and carve out transactions across a range of industries, including aerospace, defense and government services. He recently represented Veritas Capital in its acquisition of the CAES space business from Cobham and of Sequa’s Chromalloy business from Carlyle Partners.  He graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University and The George Washington University Law School, the latter bestowing upon him High Honors, Order of the Coif and an award for Highest Overall Proficiency in Securities Law.
